This is a good one. John Brahm directed a few excellent mood drenched melodrama/noirs in the 40;s such as The Brasher Doubloon, The Locket and Hangover Square. Just wish this was the correct aspect ratio but that is asking too much from this channel.

Sorry, can't watch this! The sound and images are terrible and poor quality! Needs to be digitalized for sharper, more clear imaging and for clearer sound! Please support film preservation so we don't lose many of the great films from the Golden Age of Hollywood! Some of them real masterpieces like The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1939, a great year for movies!!
